Seeing as how it's one of my favorite Chevy's (I know those two words don't really go together), it's kinda hard to see one get destroyed, but this video is pretty sweet.  1959 Chevy Belair vs a 2009 Chevy Malibu in a crash test.  Pretty amazing to see how different they perform, or don't in the case of the '59.

Probably the sweetest burnout videos I've seen in a long time right here.  This is way cooler than any "standard" burnout contest style burnout, in my opinion.  This would be so frickin' fun if we could find a stretch of road that was this dead traffic-wise.  Anywho, on with the goods.

Great!  These are similar in KOOL to Farmboys lil' red wagons.  I used to have sled dogs (old musher).  They weren't granny huskies, they were Greyhound, Saluki and Pointer.  Hook about 6 of them to one of these trikes and you will instantly learn to drift.  Take a change of shorts.  Here is my drift trike:  Yamaha 750 up front, Volkswagon Rabbit out back, 250 pounds... (Yamahopper)  Drift over frozen gravel like it was ice.

In response to the Viper thing, I read an article today saying that they were pre-production ones that were "unfit for the road".  Meaning, they had roofs/bodies that were made out of fiberglass and not reinforced, and also motors with 600 horse instead of the 450 that they came with to the public.  Uhh, where do I sign up.

I didn't mean "bulb" as in "why would it be just a light bulb instead of a cooler projector housing", more intended it as in "why would they put a headlight of any sort on the right side and then have the supercharger suck from the left side only?"  Apologies for the lack of clarity.  I just think it'd be rather silly to have 2 eyes on the right but only one on the left. ???

Or is there one on the left as well and they did some wild sorcery and made an intake tube that has the projector "floating" in the middle of it?  Really hard to tell from the pics/video.

1971 NASCAR Superbird Doing Wind Tunnel Testing

This 1971 NASCAR Superbird is the miracle that never was. According to the video uploader, this car was built as a "What-if" tribute to Richard Petty who instead ended up racing another car that year because of the association's ban on winged vehicles.

Ever since then, the car has resided as a 3/8 scale model which it was developed as until today. Thanks to the notes on the scaled model, the Winged Warriors Club along with Gary and Pam Beineke constructed the car that we see here.

Check out the modern day rendering of what was supposed to be as it hits the wind tunnel in stunning fashion below. One of the creators of the scaled version, Gary Romberg, was even on hand to see his creation come to life!

Pretty nuts how much air actually sucks INTO those little scoops on the fenders.  You'd think just by looking at 'em that the air would be venting from underneath.
