I am excited to go. I read some of you were going down as a group and I had hoped to tag along with the old Dodge. I read it is at the Anoka county fairgrounds on October 20, doors open at 9am.

I was kinda hoping to, myself.  Having some cooling issues with the ol' beast currently, tho.  Aka, need a new radiator.  Not sure if I'll have it back on the road by then or not.

Sounds like we'll be up for that weekend anyways, so even if we can't drive the family truckster I'd still be down to co-pilot for somebody.

Cool, the old 47 Dodge is only a 2 seater and I know the wife is going with. If someone wants to ride up in the Willys.......

YEP YEP. I'll be there!!! RYAN... Which road is it we usually take down?

We take some sort of back road off the highway. Pretty low key and a really nice drive. We can get some sort of plan of action in place where we can all meet up and cruise together!

Well my car could hold 6 peeps

Usually we have met up in Isanti at the Mc/BP of 65. And then head west outta town that way. Hit up 47 and head south thru St. Francis. Thatll take us right to the fairgrounds :) Usually a nice drive. Not too many speed demons. Ill be rollin around 50 mph

Can hold 6 people, but how long will it take to get up to speed with that much weight in it?

I don't think the body count is ever supposed to match or exceed the cylinder count.

It would take roughly 6 miles to get up to speed. I figure 1 mile per person seems right?

Depends how long the new RAD-iator takes to get here.  Got a pretty decent idea of how I'm gonna mount it, and already got an external tranny cooler that was collecting dust at work.  So basically just need the moola to make the purchase.  Gonna be one hell of an expensive last run for the year... :S

Was more geared towards ry-dog but I guess it works both ways.

could we hit up a junk yard for a temp solution to just get it there?
