Well more progress.. the train horn is installed, radiator over flow in in, put in the buttons and switches tonight for the air compressor and horn and b.o. sprayers haha
Also added in some black carpet! Looks pretty snazzy!!

Well i got a few new additions to the motor now.. since the burnout contest.. the timing chain stretched and the water pump went out on me.. SOoo i picked up a new Edelbrock waterpump.. JEGS timing gear set.. some Ford Racing plug wires.. spark plugs.. and an oil change! Just got the new parts on it tonight.. started it up and the gears sound sweet! I got the noisy ones so it sounds like a supercharger! Just have a few minor adjustments and finish putting hoses and stuff on and i should be ready to roll!

The old timing gears were old.. the chain stretched during the burnout contest so it wouldnt idle anymore.
These sound like a whining supercharger!! Haha

New Edelbrock waterpump that replaced the old one that fried in the burnout contest.

Was it spendy?  I'm gonna have to do the water pump on that 302 when I get it.  Could do the timing gears as well.  That seems pretty sweet.  Gotta hear 'em for myself.

You could get a stock waterpump for $35-40 ish tho and a regular timing gear and chain set for like $30, but this is way cooler!

yeah the gears sound awesome! BUT!! pchop.. those are the old wires yet hahahaha.. i still have to put on the new ones.. they are brighter ford racing ones.. haha im gonna do all that tomorrow.. pics to follow of course! haha

So what's the difference between a "stock" one and the one you got?  I'm guessing just by looking at it that it's aluminum instead of steel.

do you have a four barrel on that because i have a new holley 600cfm on my truck and its just too much for my engine

Yeah the only difference looks wise is its aluminum.. it says its supposed to help cooling too and has more flow.. but idk well see. seemed to do good on the porkys run tonight tho

tink- nah i just have a 2 barrel 600 holley on it.. i have a 4 barrel intake for it.. just need to get a carb if i can get one cheap enough. haha
