The weather is not cooperating. Looks like rain/snow mix for tomorrow, not real good for a car show. :( Is anyone still planning on going?

Old thread digger here. I just got my 727 transmission back from getting rebuilt now I got to put it back behind the 440 in my motorhome. Not looking forward to the install, lying on my back outside. Damn thing is too big to fit in my shop, and even if it did fit it surely wouldn't go on the hoist. I have to hurry up and get it done, it is my deer hunting shack and hunting is coming up quick.

Cool, the old 47 Dodge is only a 2 seater and I know the wife is going with. If someone wants to ride up in the Willys.......

I am excited to go. I read some of you were going down as a group and I had hoped to tag along with the old Dodge. I read it is at the Anoka county fairgrounds on October 20, doors open at 9am.

Nice pics, thanks for taking the time to post them all.

That's different. I thought for sure the old Ford van was going in the lake. Its not really my thing, I'm more of a dodge guy.

Looks like a bunch of hillbillys.

Where are those pictures? Me and Sarah are going to Kentucky this weekend for a chainsawing get together, we got the trunk of her car packed with 9 saws and assorted junk. I want to drive around down there and look for old Dodge's in fields.

Running those big saws is sweet, as long as you don't have to lift them a lot. My biggest saw is a 99cc Husqvarna and its a real machine, like holding on to a motorcycle engine with a bar on it. That picture of me racing the little boy was taken down in Missouri this summer, I won and when I was done I looked over and said "ha, in your face". Sweet!!!

Geez you have a lot of sweet cars!! The red lawnmower is awesome! So is the dodge you sold!

Thanks. The old garden tractor is a 1968 Massey Ferguson MF10. I bought it for $450 just because it was cool. The big Dodge was my 1977 Powerwagon, I used to be heavy into trail riding, rock crawling, and hill climbs. Very expensive hobby. I kind of got out of that and now I collect chainsaws. I can definitely see myself building one of them rat rods though. I am already thinking a 20's, 30's, 40's Dodge truck body on a 2x4 Dakota frame or something along those lines. I don't care if its not fast, I just want some thing I can put around in. Anyone know of any old Dodge's like that that are as close to free as I can get?
