The Car Craft Summer Nationals is set to do it all again July 16-18, 2010 and, with GM Performance Division as the presenting sponsor, the show has climbed from merely a crowd of dudes doing burnouts to a gigantic mob of street machiners eating thousands of pounds of fried cheese curds. Every year, the Car Craft Nats hosts the Miss Car Craft contest, a dyno contest, and the mighty burnout contest.
Real Street Eliminator is back and so is your chance to show off your car's braking, handling, and horsepower-generating abilities against the best cars in the nation at the Car Craft Summer Nationals. 2009's event was such a success that we are going to do it all again in 2010. Be there with your game on.
got to try and get the ranger done for this
Yeah thatd be awesome! Toss in some ranger HP to the show! WOoOOO!
I forgot to put in there too.. its $45 to register a vehicle until july 11.. then after that the price goes up :help:
If anybody hasn't been to this one and is questioning whether or not they should go, ponder no longer. This show is NUTS!
Last year the woman and I got to see a 1424 HP pull on the dyno. It was awesome! That and incredible cars for farther than the eye can see.
$45 to put a car into a car show is shinanigans. :S :S :S :S :S :S :S
it is pretty spendy.. but thats for 3 days too of unlimited sweetness, but still.. even 15 a day is up there.. :S

Ry-dawg: You're gonna have to score a stack of NCH flyers before Papa Chaunce heads out of town for the week(end). Would be cool to have some advertising down at Car Craft. I'm guessing it'd help our turnout.

don't want to waste them either. I think the people who go to car craft are a bit more "upity" than dem der hillbillys.

ya
south city hillbillys   i like it
Heck yeah! Vids of the burnout contest will hopefully be up soon. Ryan's was pretty sweet for his first big show, but was put in right in between a few big crowd pleasers. The dude from Pine City with the blue 'Cuda (complete with purple tires!), some guy with a blue Monte that blue his tire (always a crowd favorite), then Ryan, then a gigantic truck trying to burn off some 44" mud tires. Tough acts to follow and open for, but it was pretty sweet nonetheless.
Got vids of the 'Cuda, Ryan, the big truck, and a couple others.
Tons of sweet cars. Decent amount of crappy weather (on Saturday). Bikini contest wasn't too shabby either... 8)
Overall, a pretty good time!
look forward to the pics/vids! :)
Didn't get a whole bunch of pictures. In years past I've taken a ton, and they seem kinda pointless now. For whatever reason I just didn't go nuts this year. However, I did get a few pics of a SKYLINE! Will have to get those up here for ya. It definitely wasn't the coolest one in my opinion, an R33 vs the R34 that I'm personally more of a fan of, but again, it was a Skyline and I've never seen one in person before.
i saw it too  it was black
with white wheels!
Oh! yeah lookin forward to them videos too!!

Video of the Pine City Cuda
That vid of the 'Cuda had to be from Saturday. He's in a different burnout box and the wind's from the East. I wonder if he won both days?
ya that skyline was awesome, i want that engine in the courier and then i would really have somethin

Hopefully tomorrow eve. Randy's coming over so I'll try to do it then. Woo woo!
Oh yeah, the GoPro vid looks rad! I'll try to find a song to put in the background.
Make sure ya can still hear the truck too?
gotta have the pipes rappin
