Our destination this year for our fall cruise was Veit Automotive Foundation near Monticello.  They're open Thursdays to the public, if you get a chance to go, it's worth the drive.

The Hot Rod Round Up #4 will be held Sunday, October 5th from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Located at 940 35th Ave. NE, Sauk Rapids.  $5 entry fee.

2nd Annual Rat Rod Resurrection will be held Saturday, August 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. located at 42300 Fink Ave, Harris, MN.  Awards given at 1:00 p.m.

For sale: 1991 Ford F-250 extended cab, 4WD, 351, automatic, 146,000 miles.  Almost new tires, U joints, rear U  joints, hanger bearings, both gas tanks and front brakes.  Second owner, have owned for 12+ years. The Larry Southerland Memorial Car Cruise will be held Sunday, August 3rd.  Meet at 10:00 AM at Hayford Ford, 1330 301st Ave NW, Isanti.  Cruise will end at noon at Moonshine Whiskey, 21383 NE Ulysses St, East Bethel.  The replaces the annual Hayford Ford Car Show. The Rush City Chamber of Commerce Music & Arts Car Show will be held Saturday, August 16th beginning at 9:00 AM at the Chisago County Fairgrounds.  Free family event.  Kids activities from 1-4 PM. BINGO from noon- 4 PM.  Live music beginning at 9:00 AM.

Car Craft was at the MN State Fairgrounds over the weekend.  I know there were photos taken. Hopefully someone (you know who you are) will add some here.   

The 9th Annual North Country Hillbillys Car & Truck Show will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Braham Covenant Church.   Valve Cover Race, Rap Contest, Slow Race, Kids Tent, live bluegrass/gospel/praise music, food available on site.  Dash plaques/goodie bags to the first 50 entries.  No registration fee however, we do ask you bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to our local food shelf.

The 3rd Annual Rods & Rust Car Show & Swap Meet will be held Saturday, August 9th from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Kanabec County Fairgrounds in Mora, MN.  Flame throwing, pipe rapping, burnouts. Contact Mora Motorworks or Janet Martens @ 320-679-5485 for more information.

The Sweet as Pie Collector's Car Show will be held during Braham Pie Days on Friday, August 1st.  Check in begins at 8:30 AM at Braham Ford, 3rd Street SW.  Lots of events happening during the day. See you there!

Some potential yard projects.

GracePointe Crossing will be hosting a Classic Car Show in honor of Father's Day on Friday, June 13th from 1:00-3:00 PM. Address is GracePointe Crossing - Gables West, 135 Fern Street N, Cambridge, MN.  Registration begins at noon in the East Gables parking lot across from West Gables. Please register by 1:00 PM so residents can safely start viewing cars at 1:00 PM.  A People's Choice Trophy will be awarded.  The band "Crystal Mountain Kruzers" will perform 50's music and refreshments will be served.   

The 27th Annual Fiedler Ford Antique, Classic Car & Truck Show will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  This is held in conjunction with Big Gust Days in Grantsburg, WI.

The Rush City Fly In/Drive In will be held Sunday, June 8th from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Pancake breakfast, vintage tractors, antique cars, vintage airplanes, airplane and helicopter rides.

The 41st annual Back to the Fifties will be held June 20-22, 2014 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
