Well. the wife and I underwent the needle yesterday!!! My first, her 2nd.

here they are!

I didn't cry. It didn't hurt as bad as I was expecting. It was honestly more annoying feeling than pain. Although there were a few spots when he went over some of the ligaments that hurt a bit more. All and all. Not bad. I'll be back for more!!! 8)

Final product forgot to take one after they cleaned it up.

And here's the wifes.

just took one w/ both of ours.

Car Discussion / Carb/Intake for the Coronet!
December 30, 2009, 08:45:08 PM
I about.... 2 years ago bought a Weiand Aluminum 4BBL Intake for my Coronet. I have what I'd consider an Oddball motor.. 318 Poly. (The Semi-Hemi)  No one makes aftermarket intakes for them anymore, so if you can find one on ebay you have to pay an arm and a leg for a good one. Got mine for a hair under $300. But I've been procrastinating paying the $300 they want for a carb. It's weird. $300 for a fuel controller for my 4 wheeler was a no brainer. But for whatever reason. I have been procrastinating. Well. I finally stepped up and ordered the setup. Edlebrock 600CFM Manual Choke Carb, air cleaner and gaskets.

Can't wait for spring to come!!!! I've marked off on the intake where I'm going to do some mild porting (just gasket matching). Sorry no pics. I wasn't thinking when I was at my parents place last weekend. Maybe next weekend.

Hey all. Figured I better give my intro also.

I'm Randy, don't know what to say really. Got a 66' Dodge Coronet 4 door. Not by any means mint. Just a toy to dink around with, do some smokey burn outs and just have fun. Here's a pic of the beast:
