I about.... 2 years ago bought a Weiand Aluminum 4BBL Intake for my Coronet. I have what I'd consider an Oddball motor.. 318 Poly. (The Semi-Hemi) No one makes aftermarket intakes for them anymore, so if you can find one on ebay you have to pay an arm and a leg for a good one. Got mine for a hair under $300. But I've been procrastinating paying the $300 they want for a carb. It's weird. $300 for a fuel controller for my 4 wheeler was a no brainer. But for whatever reason. I have been procrastinating. Well. I finally stepped up and ordered the setup. Edlebrock 600CFM Manual Choke Carb, air cleaner and gaskets.
Can't wait for spring to come!!!! I've marked off on the intake where I'm going to do some mild porting (just gasket matching). Sorry no pics. I wasn't thinking when I was at my parents place last weekend. Maybe next weekend.
About time hippie.. Get that thing on there! Bet you can beat me in a smokey burnout with that!

I swear I tried something like that. Or do you have to throw the "code" tags in there as well?
just need this part : width=9999 height=9999 after the first img
Guess I'm just gonna have to pimp slap this forum into accepting my requests.
"Make the picture smaller, !"
have a road plowed almost to your car hard to get out in the spring
I don't wanna be "THAT" guy...
but how hard is it to change cams in these puppies?
Found a guy that does custom grind cams for the poly!! :woot:
$225 and have to send my core.
water pump, radiator, timing chain, gears, lifters ,pushrods, 4-6 hours i supose ona good day
dont be a girl... just do it
itll be way worth it
Can't do anything until I can get the coronet inside somewhere. Get down there and start shoveling. 8)
plus I have to see what other things are needed when I do the cam. (other pieces to the puzzle)
month and a half later update...
Coronet was in the garage all day today.
Tore the old intake/carb off. got the new one in. (took a bit longer than expected)
Now there's only a few things left to button it all up. But it's on and we did get to hear her run!!!
:pics: :run:
blah blah blah
forgot to get the pics off the camera.. I'll post up a few tonight when I get home.. and will have (hopefully) video next weekend after it's all buttoned up.

Future plan?? Do it! haha
So. Found out one issue I had w/ the new carb.
I had the vacuum advance hose on the wrong plug on the carb :fail: ....
I got it switched over to the correct side. It runs tons better. Still have a stumble on the top end but now it feels more like a tuning issue.
Have to talk to the neighbors about electronic ignition for it. would be nice to eliminate one thing to trouble shoot. :)
gettin there slowly.
Still gotta get up there and get the new wheel cylinders in. The brakes work now.. (3 pumps) but it'd be nice if they just worked
u should have gotten that cam and done that while ur intake was off
No moneyz :(
I have a 4wheeler I'm trying to fund as well. I just had put it back together and a bolt from the upper timing gear backed out and dropped into the crank :help:
 shoulda bought a 250x... hahahahahahaha
