CRIPES!!!!!

So.. the aftermarket world for the 318 poly is far and inbetween. You can't really find anything on forums for them because those people know what it's worth.. so they put it on ebay. I try to check out whats on there at least once a week just to see how much people are smoking, and if there's anything new... Here's what I found today...  (Note... this is the most things I've ever seen in one shot. normally you'll find one intake a month since they are so rare/hard to find)

First one... Weiand 7503 Aluminum Single Plane intake (Same as what I have).. EXCEPT.. New in Box!
I have never in the.... what... 5 years I've owned the coronet and known that it was a 318 poly.... Seen a NEW never used never installed Weiand Intake...  I paid 350 for mine + shipping. This one is sitting at a cozy $511.00 + 35 shipping with a full day left. CRIPES!!!!!!

Next up we have the "1957-1958" Dual quad intake.. Cast iron :help:
A Buy it now of 350.. I've seen these go for over 400. (blasted and painted... This is a stellar deal.. would be sweet to have a 2x4 setup under the hood for sure! 8)

the last one... and probably the COOLEST one... a TriPower Edlebrock p600. in my years of searching. I've only seen maybe 4 or 5 come up on e-bay. Whats not to love about 3x2 setup under the hood?  This intake is the one that makes most power for the 318 polys' hardest by far to find.. they only produced them for a year I believe. And Edelbrock won't release production numbers. But it's not many!!! Starting bid  @ $550.. the ones I've watched in the past go for crappy looking ones 700 and the near mind looking ones like this 800-1000.  :jaw:

Just thought I'd share a little info into the poly world. :)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DECEMBER 6 2010, Princeton/Shakopee Minnesota, Edison New Jersey

MINNESOTA AUTOMOTIVE MAGAZINE LEAPS INTO MAINSTREAM MARKET

Rat Rod Magazine, an automotive magazine documenting the rebellious hot rod counter-culture depicted in its title, has reached a joint venture agreement with New Jersey based magazine powerhouse National Publisher Services (NPS) in a partnership that will put the magazine on newsstands across the globe. Borne of modest small-town roots, Rat Rod Magazine has stirred up a stagnant automotive magazine market with a fresh "artistic" approach and outside-the-box design elements.

The partnership with NPS will put the red-hot title in retail spaces across the United States and in strategic International locations, delivering one of the only mainstream "rat rod specific" magazines on the market.

Editor Steve Thaemert Jr. calls the partnership "a win win that will give the booming rat rod scene a creative title of their own." Thaemert works from his office in Shakopee Minnesota, where he has already designed and published the first five Rat Rod Magazine issues dating back to May 2010. "We're proving that the little guy can succeed with a little elbow grease and a passion for what they are doing. This magazine is a testament to the drive and creativity of rat rodders around the world."

Thaemert started the magazine during the winter of 2010 with his father Steve Sr., who is the acting CEO and manages the business side of the magazine from the RRM headquarters in Princeton Minnesota. The duo saw an opportunity to fill a void in the hot rod magazine market, and bring something new to the table. More information about Rat Rod Magazine can be found at www.ratrodmagazine.com.

In it's 20 years of operation, National Publisher Services has worked with such magazines as USA TODAY, World Wrestling Entertainment, August Home, and many others. More information about NPS is available at www.nps1.com.
