Carb/Intake for the Coronet!

I about.... 2 years ago bought a Weiand Aluminum 4BBL Intake for my Coronet. I have what I'd consider an Oddball motor.. 318 Poly. (The Semi-Hemi)  No one makes aftermarket intakes for them anymore, so if you can find one on ebay you have to pay an arm and a leg for a good one. Got mine for a hair under $300. But I've been procrastinating paying the $300 they want for a carb. It's weird. $300 for a fuel controller for my 4 wheeler was a no brainer. But for whatever reason. I have been procrastinating. Well. I finally stepped up and ordered the setup. Edlebrock 600CFM Manual Choke Carb, air cleaner and gaskets.

Can't wait for spring to come!!!! I've marked off on the intake where I'm going to do some mild porting (just gasket matching). Sorry no pics. I wasn't thinking when I was at my parents place last weekend. Maybe next weekend.

Made some progress this weekend! 

Got the intake (that I've had for 2 years.....) sand blasted. Thx for helpin dad!   You can see on the inside where the carb mounts, an idea of what it all USED to look like.. Now brand spankin.








Here I got it all nice n' purrdy lookin mounted up!
