The North Country Hillbillys hosted the Sweet as Pie Car Show at Braham Pie Day on Friday, August 1. We officially had 151 registered hot rods and approximately 170 total show cars/drivers in attendance. This is our largest show to date. Thanks for everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigated the move to Broadway Avenue and dealt with road construction in downtown Braham. If you have any feedback, positive or negative, we’d love to hear your input.
A special thank you goes to out the Hillbillys who helped with the show, it was a great day and we always have a fun time.

Sweet as Pie Car Show History: Past conversations between friends, Ron Hallin and Doug Severson, about having something for the guys to do during Pie Day led to the inception of the Sweet as Pie Car Show. The Sweet as Pie Car Show was started in 2004 by Ron Hallin and Susan Severson in memory of Susan’s husband, Doug, who passed away in August of 2003. Susan and Braham Ford sponsored this car show for many years in memory of Doug for his commitment to the community and his enthusiasm for cars. Over the years, Steve Wilson, Braham Ford/Braham Motor Service, and North Country Hillbillys (NCH) Car Club have sponsored and hosted this show. The Sweet as Pie Car Show complements the annual Braham Pie Day festivities. The NCH Car Club is proud to be able to offer a FREE car show in our local community.
